Meet the finalists for Bradford’s Fourth Annual Inspirational Women Awards
Bradford’s unsung female heroes will once again be honoured for their contributions and achievements across public and home life at the fourth, annual Bradford Inspirational Women Awards (BIWA), taking place on Saturday 28 March at the Life Centre, Wapping Road, Bradford.
The coveted award ceremony, which highlights the stories of the district’s inspirational women, continues to go from strength to strength with a new category added each year. This year’s new category is Inspirational Woman Teacher. Once again the response for nominations across all categories has been exceptional. In addition, two Special Awards will be presented on the night by the founders of the Inspirational Woman Foundation – a not for profit organisation established to work with and to support women, be it at home, in the workplace, in the community or in business, of which the Inspirational Women Awards are now a part.
The finalists represent the diverse culture Bradford inhabits, as this years finalists have roots in Eastern Europe, India, Pakistan and with one from a military background. A panel of judges will now meet in a weeks time to choose the final winners who will be announced at the red carpet awards ceremony.
